Great one again !
Could you do the same with tasks ? I was gonna send you a mail about it. I guess it’s the next step

Thanks, Rostane
Indeed, it’s the next step on task drag and drop. Right now you can move tasks up and down by pressing on the small black arrows (assuming you’re using a “manual sort” view type) -> http://www.taskwriter.com/blog/new-manual-sorting-for-tasks/
Still working on drag and drop because we need to find the right balance between speed and user experience. The small arrows, as it is now, give a lot of speed in terms of rendering. Still thinking on the right balance

Keep user experience first ! I have been an avid user of ClockingIT (www.clockingit.com) which is a great RoR app with tons of features, and when I compare it to BaseCamp it has probably everything that BaseCamp lacks, however the learning curve is long and steepy, and I’ve seen many users just leave because of that. Whereas with BaseCamp you are up and running in 30 seconds ! This is a major key to success. So if you guys can add functionality without sacrifying ease of use, you’ll have a winner.
