No, it's not static. It is generated at client side each time you click on print, just for the sake of speed ;). It wouldn't work on IPhone the way it is now. However, we'll have soon RSS feeds and a XHTML mobile interface which will also work in the IPhone browser. Anyway, all these will be just workarounds until we're ready with the full IPhone version.
