“hide this task until 2 days before”

By katy

For tasks that goes into the calendar, you might not want to see them everyday in your task list. Instead, you might want to be hidden until 2 days before due date.

How to do that ?

1. set a due date

2. choose “hide until 2 days before”

The result ?

You won’t see this task until the 19th of December (2 days before its due date)

What if I want to see it before ?

You will notice the “2 tasks are hidden (show)” label in the “by due date” box. Just click on “show all” to see all your tasks and (maybe) edit them.

Nice, it’s like having a starting date. (still missing “duration”, even if it’s not an information that is used on gtd)

In the same way, It would be nice that some tasks auto hide after due date (or auto-delete). For un-important tasks :)

This will also permit to have repetive tasks without being overwhelmed by the number of tasks not done.

Nice idea – does unclutter the list and helps focus on the current.

Has anyone asked for an ‘archive all done’ button or link? Or have I just missed it?

It is a pain archiving each one especially when the link on the far right.

Looking forward to the new updates in January and ready to review!
