new : manual sort for the left filtering boxes

By katy

Are you usually doing filters on projects ? Then move the “filter by project” box on the top !
Doing filtering mostly by context. No problem, put the “filter by context” box the first one. Your choice.

To manually arrange the left filtering boxes, just drag and drop a box as below :

To be able to manually sort your tasks, you need to set first your sorting order to “List, Manual Sort”.

new feature: add projects on the fly

By katy

When adding a new task, the last option in the projects checkbox is now “<new project>”. Just select this option and you could add a new project on the fly.

The same is valid for lists or contexts.

new feature: unclutter your task list

By katy

You are using TaskWriter for a while by now, and you feel that you have too many visible tasks….

“Activate / Deactivate” is for you ! ;)

Use the right “deactivate” button to temporary hide all tasks in a specific project. You can also see that like putting the project on hold. You can do the same for a list you are not using for a long time (but you don’t want to delete it yet), or for a context that does not work for you while you are on holiday.
