Too many projects ? Tag them !
By katy
-
The problem
I have more than active 20 projects, and I find hard to manage them.
-
The solution
Group your projects using tags, and focus only on one tag at each time.
-
The implementation
Go to the “define” tab, edit a project and add a tag to the project (let’s say you added “home”)

Now go back to the “tasks” screen, and you will notice that above the “projects” box you have now the “home” tag. Press it and only the projects tagged as “home” will show up in the list.

Of course you can add as many tags as you wish and in any combination. And of course you can do the same for lists and contexts.

Thank you for all your help and suggestions on that, Eric

new : search in dashboard

Now it’s possible to filter your tasks in dashboard based on a certain string contained in the task name. For example, if you wanna see only the tasks that contains “lunch” in their name, just do a quick search on “lunch” as below :

new : the auto-collect list / project / context can now be edited
By katy
OK, we finally realized that there is no “one size fits all solution”
Everybody like his very own naming and is not going to change it. Therefore, you can now edit the special auto-collect list, project and context.
“#none”, “@no project”, “#one task project”, “#single step”, you decide
Go to the “define” tab and choose whatever project name you like.
