“task lists” are now separate items

To make things more clear, now the “task lists” are in a separate zone. Before, you had everything under the “context” zone, including here both “@phone”, “@car” and “#next action”, “waiting for” kind of items. This was kind of fuzzy.

Now we have two distinct zones :

“contexts” : “@car”, “@computer”, “@home”, “@shopping”

and

“lists” : “next action”, “reference”, “someday”, “waiting for”

a newly created account looks like that (your account should look similar too) :

How to migrate your data ?

  • delete all your lists that appears under the “context” zone (e.g. “next action”, “waiting for”…)
  • keep under the “context” zone only the real contexts (like “@phone”, “@email”, “@shopping”)
  • create lists under the “list” zone (the ones you have deleted previously)
  • reassign your tasks accordingly
  • (you might have to relocate all your tasks to a temporary context before being able to delete some items - only items that have no tasks attached can be deleted)
  • use the write back link and ask for help if anything not clear enough. You will hear from us very soon !

We will soon need more space in the top bar for the “calendar” screen. We are preparing for that by putting both contexts and projects in the same screen.
